Gaeilge Mhaigh Cuilinn aims to promote and support the use of Irish Language in everyday life by preparing a range of initiatives and measures. This plan when completed will reflect the needs within the community, what resources and services required to help promote Irish.
We invite your views and support on how we as a community can save and promote the language
As part of the 20-year strategy for the Irish Language, (2010-2020) MCDA in conjunction with Udaras na Gaeltachta are co-ordinating this plan. In simple terms this plan is how we can go about communicating with each other ‘as gaeilge’. Its future depends on us all working together within the community.
It involves a process of working with all community groups/clubs/schools and local business and the general public regarding developing such a plan.
This new plan aims to promote, foster and maintain the Irish language on a community basis with an emphasis on establishing permanent institutions and networks in those communities in conjunction with other bodies in the area.
We need your views on how to save and develop the Irish Language in Moycullen.
The outcome of this plan will be a community led structure on develop and promote the language in Moyculen.
